What we collect, and why
Enquiries sent through the contact form
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, your message, and your telephone number if you choose to provide it. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to continue the conversation you started.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, because processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us.
Retention: Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. Property decisions frequently take a year or more, and we keep correspondence available for that period so we can pick up where a conversation left off. If an enquiry leads to a client relationship, the correspondence is retained under the terms of that engagement instead.
Direct contact by email, telephone or WhatsApp
If you contact us directly rather than through the form, we process whatever information you choose to share, on the same legal basis and for the same purpose.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request. This is a normal part of operating a secure website and is used for security and troubleshooting only. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.
Who your data is shared with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
The contact form is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which receives your submission and forwards it to our email address. FormSubmit operates outside the EU/EEA, which means a submission made through the form involves a transfer of personal data to a third country. If you would prefer not to use the form, you are welcome to email or message us directly using the details on our contact page.
Our website hosting is provided by Simply.com A/S in Denmark. Email is handled by our email provider. These providers process data on our instructions only.
Cookies
This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We run no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party tracking scripts. The only cookies that may be set are functional ones required by WordPress and the page builder for the site to work correctly.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing rests on legitimate interest, you may object at any time.
